There years ago when Tom and I walked the Coast to Coast trail, my biggest challenges to completing a post each night were intermittent wi-fi connection in stone pubs built several hundred years ago and drooping eyelids after a hiking day that left me completely exhausted.

We had a special sighting today of grazing cows in a pasture adjacent to our trail with Oreo markings- head and forelegs black, mid section white, rear and back legs black. Some were even Double Stuffed Oreos with an extra wide white section!

Last week Tom had a fever and a deep cough since. On top of that he contracted swimmer’s itch (maybe?) while lake fishing and soon the rash covered his whole body.
